90th Anniversary Ceremony

本校は今年で創立90周年を迎えます。去る10月1日、ミューザ川崎にてその記念式典が行われました。中等部と高等部の生徒も出席した式典は厳かな雰囲気に包まれ、生徒たちも非日常的な体験にわくわくしているのが伝わってきました。
ALTのケイティも式典に参加し、その感想を綴ってくれました。
Den-en Chofu is currently in its 90th year of providing education. I attended the ceremony and party held in honor of this wonderful occasion on October 1st. The ceremony, held at Muza Kawasaki Symphony Hall was attended by current students, teachers, and many others who have supported Den-en Chofu while its doors have been open. The second half of the ceremony celebrated Den-en Chofu’s 90th anniversary with music and singing. My favorite part of the ceremony was when the school’s orchestra beautifully played a range of works, including Strauss and each of the attending schools’ songs.
（概訳）10月1日、記念すべき創立90周年を祝う式典に参加しました。会場となったミューザ川崎には、生徒たちや教職員、そして調布学園を支えてきた多くの方々がいらっしゃいました。式典の第二部は音楽によって彩られ、校歌やシュトラウスの作品を演奏した管弦楽部の美しいハーモニーは、とても素晴らしかったです。
