Diary from Canada ( Day 12 – 13 )

カナダ・ホームステイ、最後の週末です。生徒たちは、それぞれのホスト・ファミリーと、のんびりと過ごしたり、どこかへ出かけたり、思い思いに過ごしていることと思います。
カナダでの生活も残りわずかですが、まだまだ、生徒たちには、やり残したこと、積極的に取り組めることがあるはずです。最後まで、思う存分、充実した生活を送ってもらいたいと思います。
本日の写真は、皆の思い出の場所となった２つのスタディー・センターです。

＜８月１２日（土）の’Home Stay Journal’より…＞
Today I went shopping with my friends. I bought some clothes. I was very happy! But I missed our buddies. I sometimes wanted to see them. I recorded ourselves on video with my host sister. It was so much fun! And I helped my host mother with her job. It was cleaning the garden. It was so much fun! Tonight, I went shopping with my host family. It was so much fun! I could talk with my host family. I thought that I had come to be able to smile for a long time! I had a lot of fun every day.

＜８月１３日（日）の’Home Stay Journal’より…＞
It was the last day in Canada. This morning my buddies came to school to see us. I was very happy and very sad. I cried a lot. I did not want to leave Canada.

Today I went to church. I met Mahoro and Mahoro’s host family there. I had lunch at a pizza restaurant. The pizza was so big. I was surprised at it. But it was so good. And my host family gave me two gifts for my family in Japan and for me. I was glad to get them.
