During this process, I found that it is crucial to look at multiple elds through multiple lenses. For example, the refugee crisis cannot be tackled without taking into consideration the views from welfare, economy, and education. Participation in the Model UN activities strengthened my desire to contribute to solving these global concerns. The problem is, however, that there is a limit to what I can do by myself to make the world a better place. Therefore, I plan to contribute to society through education: educating children to be the next global leaders. As a teacher, I hope to conduct classes based on “Active learning”. Through discussions and independent research, students will learn problem-solving and critical thinking as well as the core language skills. I would then like to carry the teaching style of “Active learning” into a bigger scale, by setting up an international school, open to children from ages 12 to 18. I want children to adapt themselves to a culturally diverse environment and learn as unique individuals.取り出し授業参加者の自己推薦文より抜粋(2020年卒 早稲田大学国際教養学部 進学)Along with the passion I had in my classes, the three years as a participant in Model United Nations drew me to my future plan.I researched and learned about conicts around the world triggered by environmental issues, cultural friction among nations, and problems from the viewpoint of human rights.
