English Lovers’ Club! (English Room)

Today in the English room, Katie, Jason, and I enjoyed another exciting ELC meeting. During lunchtime, we played a special, new game while eating our lunches. Today’s game was called “Queen’s Cup”. This is a card game that combines more than ten, hilarious English challenges. Our members had a great time playing the game and they were able to earn a lot of points! We were excited to play “Queen’s Cup” again with them. We always enjoy having the chance to get to know our English Lover’s Club members better. Katie, Jason, and I hope to see you in the English Room soon. -Samantha
English Roomでは中2・中3の有志が平日の昼休みにお弁当を持参して集まるEnglish Lovers’ Club を開催しています。日常会話やゲームのほか、外部コンテストへの出場も視野に入れて練習なども行う予定です。毎週集まる固定メンバーのほかにも、それぞれが友達を連れてきてビジターとして参加する生徒も見られています。
今年度よりEnglish Roomが2階に移動し、上下のフロアから様々な学年がアクセスしやすくなりました。今日の昼休みも、高3はTOEFLEの勉強に、中1はFake Moneyの預金と洋書マンガの貸し出しにやってきて、幅広い学年が訪れ、賑やかな様子でした。（英語科 西尾）
