On August 7 and 8, members of our Model UN club participated in the 5th annual AJEMUN. Due to Covid-19 restrictions the conference was held over Zoom but that didn’t deter our students from actively participating. Our teams, representing Bangladesh, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UK, were all sponsors of resolutions that passed their committees. This is no small feat as it’s not easy to get a draft resolution passed. A large conference such as this years, with more than 350 teams, can be overwhelming but our students did a great job making important contributions to their committees.

第五回全国高校教育模擬国連大会が8月7，8日に開かれ、本校からは4ペア8名の生徒が参加しました。ほとんどの生徒が初心者であり、またZoomでの進行は難しい面もあったようです。過去に英語で参加したことのある生徒は、「英語のときよりも簡単かと思っていましたが、日本語の方が詳しい内容にも触れるので、難しく感じました。でもたくさん発言できました！」と報告してくれました。（模擬国連同好会顧問　Jason May　平福かおり）
