Word Tree (English Room)

現在、English Roomでは壁面にWord Treeの制作を行っています。生徒は自分のお気に入りの言葉やことわざを葉っぱ型の紙に書いて、壁に飾ります。感謝祭シーズンということもあり、自分がもっとも感謝するものを書いてくれた生徒もいます。”No rain, no rainbow”, “Practice makes perfect”, “My friends and this life!”……秋の深まりとともに葉を落とす街路樹とは反対に、English Roomの木は日に日に大きく成長しています！
Autumn is here and that means it is time for cozy sweaters, warm cups of tea, and colourful leaves. To celebrate the change of seasons, Jason and I have prepared many special events for the English (D.R.E.A.M.) Room! One of these events include making a word tree. When students visit the English Room, they are asked to fill out one of the three leaf types. Each leaf has a special meaning. On the first leaf, students must write down their favourite English word. On the second leaf, students must write about what they are thankful for. This leaf is inspired by Thanksgiving which is coming up soon! On the third leaf, students must write down their favourite proverb or saying. I look forward to covering the tree branches with all of the student’s colourful and creative leaves! (ALT Samantha、英語科西尾)
