“Would you join us for dinner?”

Students practiced this phrase again and again….. They were very nervous when they heard the bus arrive. The crew of the Delta Air Lines entered the lobby. Girls rushed to them. Now is the time to use the phrase!
This evening we invited four pilots and one flight attendant to our dinner. Students were shy at first but soon started to ask many questions about their trip. They had such a wonderful time that one hour passed quickly.
We also had a speech contest today. The finalists introduced lots of Japanese culture such as food, bon-odori and kimono. The first prize will be announced tomorrow.
Tomorrow is the last day. After skit play and closing ceremony, we will finally head for Tokyo. One girl said, “I don’t want to go home. Four days are too short. Make it two weeks!” Now we know they are really enjoying this camp!! (Yamamoto and Hirafuku)
