家族と週末を過ごして〜オーストラリア・ホームステイ第８日目

- 日曜日は、それぞれのファミリーと時間を過ごしました。水族館や動物園に行ったり、家でゆっくりしたり、日本食を料理したりと様々の過ごし方でした。土曜日のキュランダへの遠足と日曜日でバディーやホスト・ファミリーとの距離もぐっと縮まったようです。
こちらでは、バスを利用している生徒もいますが、ほとんどの生徒が車で送り迎えをしてもらっています。バディーと一緒にお迎えの車を待ったり、友達のお母さんと一緒に帰ったりとお付き合いの幅も広がります。
写真は、ホームフォームのM1に立ち寄って帰るときの様子です。学校の奥が小高い丘になっていますが、そこでお迎えを待つ生徒もちらほら。そこから学校を見下ろすとお迎えの車ラッシュになっていました。
ジャーナルは、週末の様子がよく描かれていました。なお、今日のホームフォーム時の生徒コメント動画を本校ホームページ「在校生保護者の方へ」中等部掲示板に入れましたので関係者の方はご覧ください。

I made some gyoza and rolled omelet. They were little failures, but my host sister said, “Their tastes are nice.” So I am happy. I wanted to make gyoza for my mother in Japan, too.

I went to community church. I was bored. After that, I went to my friend’s house. I played a game with some children. I ate barbecue sausage. I went to the park with a lot of my friends and my host sister. But as it began to rain, we ran to the house. We got soaked. After we backed home, we watched TV and ate dinner.

I played badminton because one of my hobbies was to play badminton. So I was happy. I went to a zoo, and saw a koala. It was moving. It was very cute. I made a crane of origami with my host family and my my buddy’s friend. I was a teacher. Everyone enjoyed making one. At night, I played with a paper balloon with my host sisters. It was fun. I enjoyed today.

Today was my birthday. My host family congratulated me. They gave me a lunch box, some snacks and a birthday cake!

Today, I saw a lot of Australian animals. They were so cute. I was able to take a lot of pictures.
