中２LHR 「英語プレゼンテーション大会」
先週のLHRは英語科主催のプレゼンテーション大会でした。各クラス2名ずつ代表者が選出され自分が尊敬する人について、それぞれ思いをこめてプレゼンを行いました。
1年次に比べ英語力も表現力も大きく進歩し、自分が伝えたいことを一生懸命に伝える姿が印象的でした。
司会進行は英語の取り出しクラスに在籍する生徒が行いました。
以下は司会の生徒の感想とプレゼンテーション大会で優勝した生徒のコメントです。（中２ 学年主任）
講堂朝礼などで校長先生が立っているところに立って、堂々と発表している姿にとても魅了されました。優勝した生徒を含め、発表者全員が輝いていました！ 私達も英語力をさらに磨き、240人の前で堂々としたプレゼンテーションができるよう日々、努力していこうと思いました。 （中２ 取り出し生徒）
I am not good at talking in front of the public because I’m likely to get nervous.
When I was selected as one of the finalists, I decided to overcome that personality
during the event. I practiced my presentation very hard, so I could memorize my speech
almost perfectly. For this reason, I was sure I would not be nervous in the contest.
But I was ! I was very very nervous. My feet and hands tremble fo violiently.
However, I could do my best because I kept practicing hard until the day of the contest.
When the host called my name as a winner, I was very surprised.
A lot of my friends said to me, “ Congratulations!” I was very happy.
I’m proud of myself and I will take on many challenges in the future.
