Fantastic speech and fabulous dinner! ～English Camp Day 2～

The 2nd day of English Camp started with the speech contest semi-finals. Each of the students tried hard to make a good speech in their groups. After lunch we had a contest, having 20 finalists under a spotlight. They did an excellent job by making eye contact and doing gestures to attract friends’ and teachers’ attention.
Dinner was one of the most unforgettable memories, because students themselves invited Delta Airline crew members. When their bus from Narita Airport arrived at the hotel, they rushed to the crews and made appointments in English without any teachers’ help. We had 10 guests and spent a great time listening to their amazing experiences. Some girls even got Delta Airline pins as a token of friendship!
English Camp２日目のメインはスピーチコンテスト。皆自分の思いを伝えようと一生懸命でした。 ディナーはデルタ航空のクルーを生徒が自らロビーで招き、大いに盛り上がった晩餐でした。 (中３担任 平福)
