English Camp Day 2

Today the girls enjoyed various activities. The first one was their speeches. Everyone practiced delivering their speeches hard and then had an elimination round within their class group. Two finalists were chosen from each group. The finalists have distinguishing traits and all of them were so fascinating. Some talked about the person they respect most, and others about where they want to be in ten years.
The second activity was debating. The girls learned how to debate in English step by step. They tried to think about as many reasons as possible to support their arguments. To have a debate, so many skills are necessary. They have to catch what the other side says, think about how to attack the argument logically, and build up new ideas to defeat the opponent. They looked exhausted after the debate practice.
Following this, they enjoyed outdoor activities! Badminton, Frisbee, soccer, dodge ball… they had great fun with native teachers. They were refreshed after a long day indoors.
But the most exciting time must have been the cabin crew invitation in the lobby. When the bus with Delta crew arrived at the hotel marquee, the girls got ready to speak to them and invite them to our dinner. The crew were so tired after their long flights that many of them couldn’t accept their invitations. But…guess what? Three flight attendants and one pilot have come to have dinner with us. Lucky girls! They talked a lot with the wonderful guests. What a great experience- dinner today must have been extra tasty!
