Spy games Escape room (DCG Academy 2nd)

The students were shipped off to Spy School for this escape room themed DCG Academy event. After finding out the English language was in danger through a series of videos the students prepared to break into an evil lair and take back the English Batteries and save the day!
There were a total of three videos released to the children. Each video contained both a clue and a lesson in homonyms. The students had to watch these videos. On the 22nd of November, we played the escape room for the first time. As a warm up the children impressed us with their amazing homonym skills through a small pop quiz.
As they finished their quiz the children headed over to the start of the escape room. The first puzzle was pure fun. They dipped and dodged their way through untouchable red string, or in spy code: lasers! The second puzzle required them to communicate silently! Remember the children are breaking into Dr.Evil’s lair. By matching a pair of playing cards they revealed pictures. Three of these pictures were related to the videos. Once the correct three cards were placed in the slots the laser door was disabled and the children snuck into the private office of Dr. Evil. There they found Dr. Evil’s Diary and the lock box containing the English Batteries! After careful code cracking the children were able to escape! But not before once again having to slip and slide through another path of deadly lasers!
The first day was highly successful. Each team enjoyed themselves and we had the fastest team finishing the escape room in a super 3 minutes and 33 seconds! Most other teams took about 5 minutes!
We ran the Escape room once again on the 29th of November to even greater success! Not only did we have our junior high students but also a group of Senior high students played the game as well!
Now the only question is, what will come next?
2学期のDCGアカデミーは「脱出ゲーム」をしました。学校に送られたビデオを通して英語が危険にさらされていることを知った生徒たちは、悪の巣窟に侵入し、英語電池を奪い返して窮地を脱する準備をしました！
事前に公開されたビデオは全部で3本。それぞれのビデオにはヒントと同音異義語のレッスンの両方が含まれています。参加者はこれらのビデオを見てゲームに参加しました。11月22日、ウォーミングアップとして、小さなポップクイズを通して、同音異義語の練習をその場でしました。
クイズが終わると、生徒たちは脱出ルームのスタート地点に向かいます。最初のパズルは純粋に楽しかった。触ることのできない赤い糸、スパイコードで言えばレーザーをくぐったり、かわしたり！2つ目のパズルでは、無言でコミュニケーションをとります。生徒たちはDr.Evilの隠れ家に侵入します。一組のトランプを合わせると、絵が浮かび上がってきて、そのうちの3枚はビデオに関連したものだった。正しい3枚のカードがスロットに置かれると、レーザードアは無効になり、子供たちは悪の博士の部屋に忍び込めあす。そこで生徒たちは、悪の博士の日記と英国製電池の入った錠前箱を見つけるのです。慎重に暗号を解読した後、脱出することができました！しかし、またしても致命的なレーザーの通り道をすり抜けなければならなかったのです。
各チームとも楽しみながら、最速のチームは3分33秒という超スピードで脱出ルームを終了しました。他のほとんどのチームは5分ほどかかりました。
11月29日にも脱出ルームを実施し、大成功を収めました！中学生だけでなく、高校生のグループもゲームに参加しました！
